WALTER GOLLADAY
In May 1961, Walter enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve, in Aug, he was assigned to Boot Camp Pllatoon 258 at San Diego MCRD. In Nov. 1961, he was sent to Camp Pendleton for Infantry Training. In Jan. 1962, he reported to H&S Co, Staging BN, MCB, Camp Pendleton and served as a 0141 Admin Man until late 1962. In Dec. 1962, he was transferred to H&S Co, HQBN, HQMC, Henderson Hall, Arlington, VA where he continued to serve in Admin as a Lance Corporal before Release From Active Duty in Aug. 1964. He was Honorably Discharged in May 1967.

As a federal employee from November 1965 until his retirement in September 1998, Walter worked for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon; The Bureau of Public Debt, Wash. DC; the U.S. Army Finance & Comptroller Command, Fort Ben Harrison, IN; for USAREUR and 7th Army, West Germany; for 5th Signal Command, West Germany; for Information Systems Command, Fort Hood, TX; and for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes & Ohio River Division, Cincinnati, OH. After serving 36 years of miltary and federal service, he retired from the Army Corps of Engineers as a GM-14 Information Management Officer.

In August 2006, Walter assumed the position of Editor & Publisher,
and in October 2008, he established the Detachment Casket & Funeral Guard Unit and became the NCOIC.
